Clear Pathways for Institutions, Programs, Trainers, and Practitioners
AIAES evaluates organizations, professional education programs, trainers, and practitioners against published requirements relevant to the recognition they seek.
Each pathway considers the applicant’s scope, supporting evidence, professional responsibilities, and demonstrated quality.
Different Applicants Require Different Forms of Review
Professional accreditation is not a single assessment applied to every applicant.
An institution is evaluated differently from a training program. A trainer’s qualifications require a different review from a practitioner’s professional competence or experience.
AIAES provides five distinct pathways so that every application can be assessed against criteria appropriate to its purpose.
Understanding the Difference
Accreditation
Accreditation evaluates an institution or professional program against defined requirements relating to quality, governance, delivery, assessment, and learner support.
Certification
Certification assesses whether an individual has demonstrated the education, experience, competence, and ethical practice required for a particular professional credential.
Recognition
Recognition evaluates the qualifications, professional record, or demonstrated experience of a trainer or practitioner within a clearly defined scope.
Choose the Pathway That Fits Your Application
Institutional Accreditation
For training providers and professional education organizations seeking an independent review of their governance, delivery systems, learner support, assessment practices, and quality assurance.
Program Accreditation
For organizations seeking an evaluation of a specific professional education or training program, including its structure, learning outcomes, delivery, assessment, and professional relevance.
Trainer Recognition
For trainers and facilitators seeking recognition of their qualifications, delivery experience, professional conduct, and continuing professional development.
Professional Certification
For practitioners seeking a professional credential based on relevant education, experience, demonstrated competence, and ethical practice.
Experience-Based Recognition
For experienced professionals seeking formal recognition of prior learning and applied practice supported by relevant documentary evidence.

Professional Recognition With Clear Boundaries
AIAES professional accreditation, certification, and recognition do not constitute a university degree or a government-issued occupational license.
They do not authorize regulated practice where a legal license is required or guarantee employment, promotion, immigration, or recognition by another organization.
Applicants remain responsible for confirming the legal and professional requirements applicable to their work.
Before You Apply
Which pathway should I choose?
Choose according to who is applying and what requires evaluation. Institutions, programs, trainers, certified practitioners, and experienced professionals follow different pathways.
Can one application cover an institution and all its programs?
No. Institutional Accreditation evaluates the organization. Individual programs may require separate Program Accreditation.
Is Trainer Recognition the same as Professional Certification?
No. Trainer Recognition evaluates a person’s training qualifications and delivery practice. Professional Certification assesses competence within a specified professional field.
Can experience be considered without a university degree?
Experience may be considered through Experience-Based Recognition when it is relevant, substantial, and supported by acceptable evidence. Eligibility depends on the requested field and applicable requirements.
Is approval automatic after payment?
No. Payment initiates the review process and does not guarantee approval.
Can an applicant be asked for additional evidence?
Yes. AIAES may request clarification, further documentation, or an interview when necessary to complete the assessment.
Do credentials expire?
Some credentials and accreditation statuses have a defined validity period and may require renewal or continuing professional development.
Can employers or clients check an AIAES credential?
Yes. Issued credentials can be checked using their unique reference number or QR code.
